September, 2011 – Angela has relocated to Toronto, Ontario, where she hopes to start her career. Alyssa Buchanan and Evan Jobb’s short film, Those Forgotten, for which Angela provided the original score, was screened at the Atlantic Film Festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on September 18th.
August 12, 2011 – Angela has completed all her requirements for her double major in Film Scoring and Composition with minor in Conducing at Berklee College of Music.
July, 2011 - Kim Putman’s short film, 4Walls, for which Angela provided music for the credits, is being screened at festivals across the States.
May 3, 2011 – Angela’s music, composed while at 2002 Studios in London last summer, has been released on a game for iPhone and iPad. You can check it out here.
April 12, 2011 – Angela’s piece, Vignette, is featured on Music4Japan.org’s compilation to raise funds for disaster relief in Japan. Click here to listen and donate.
Her music will also be heard in award-winning filmmaker, Kim Putman’s new film, 4 Walls.
Angela is also pleased to have completed her score for Blue City, a short film that she scored for her senior portfolio at Berklee College of Music, from where she will be graduating this May with a dual major in Film Scoring and Composition and minor in Conducting.
Angela is also an organizer for Berklee SpringFest again this year and designed the poster.
January 30, 2011 – Angela is involved in several exciting projects
this term, including acting in, creating the intentionally-bad poster for and scoring a short film, A Weekend, which is based off the aesthetics of Tommy Wiseau’s The Room; scoring a short film for her senior portfolio; learning graphic design and photography, and she is also pleased to have received a promotion in her work position.
She has just posted a preview of a work she is composing, in what she considers to be in the genre of “synimalism,” a hybrid of minimalism textures and synthesized timbres. You can listen to a teaser of Roboromance here.
September 7, 2010 – Angela has begun her final year at Berklee College of Music. She has also added some previous film scoring projects to the video page.
August 10, 2010 – The commercial Angela scored for the Trade Union Congress 60-Second commercial contest in London was highly commended. You can see it on the video page.
July 13, 2010 – Angela has added a new photos page and made improvements to the video page.
July 5, 2010 – Angela is now interning at 2002 Studios in London, where she will be working on several exciting projects. You can check out the website here: http://www.2002studios.com/
May 1, 2010 – Angela performs her premiere of a yet-to-be titled piece for piano and computer with visuals, with Berklee synth major, Seiya Matsumiya for a student organized concert at Berklee.
April 24, 2010 – Berklee’s first ever Berklee SpringFest, sponsored by the Shops at the Prudential Center is held. Angela contributed to the event by organizing the vendor market portion, activities for children, as well as designing all the posters for the event. Poster is viewable to the right.
March 21, 2010 - Angela plays her first performance of a new composition, Flutter, at a student organized concert at Berklee.
February 19, 2010 - Angela plays keyboard in a show sponsored by Ableton Live, with Berklee Electronic Production and Design major, Seiya Matsumiya.
December 2009 – Angela has been accepted to the Berklee College of Music Summer London Internship Program, to be completed in summer 2010.
September 2009 – Angela’s first film score, Eat the Meek (Trinocular Films) is screened at the Atlantic Film Festival.
